Summer has arrived and we are taking full advantage of it here at NET HQ. As many will know terriers are very active and love an adventure because of this they make the best hiking partners and love a night in the wild. A group of our long termers went on a camping trip in the lake district with volunteer Isobel and her pooches. After a challenging hike starting at Seathwaite farm and completing base brown, green gable, great gable and Seathwaite fell before looping back to the campsite to enjoy a al fresco tea you can bet they slept soundly that night. starting day 2 with an early start to hike the mountain and watch the sunrise before taking a bus ride into Keswick for a picnic in the park, sunbathing and a paddle in Derwent water, watching the world go by in crow park and practicing a group settle ( not the easiest trick for terriers ). They all loved it and came home tired and happy.
